How fast does a Majesty Palm (Ravenea rivularis) grow? Is it a suitable plant for a bed with other plants.?

I will have a bed about 30 ft. long, want it for shade,will plant smaller plants in garden and also blooming flowers. It will be in full sun. Does the top get ugly? I know it gets big, but how soon.

1. Count on one frond per month...not a fast growing plant. But beautiful Make sure it is a very shady area when young.
