  1. First of all, you need to figure out where they are coming from. When you locate their anthill, try this: Chop up three onions and boil in about a gallon of water for about 30 minutes, mash the onions with a spatula or potato masher while cooking. When it cools off, strain it into a milk jug or something similar. Set it out in the sun for about a week until it rots. WARNING: Do not sniff this stuff, it will KNOCK YOU OUT!!! Pour around antbed, spiraling to the center, just enough to saturate the bed (about a quart should do it) Store the jug outside of your house! Go back and check the antbed in a few minutes, and plant a tombstone! I guarantee this will work! Safe on the soil... It's just onion juice! I hope this helps!
  2. You may be able to find what you are looking for at Silky Scents. They have a free recipe section that is easy to follow
  3. dish soap and water kills ants
  4. Call a professional, there are many baits that can be used in the garden.
  5. Sprinkle powdered red chili pepper, paprika, dried peppermint or borax on ant trails, in cracks and near entryways to deter them from moving in. You can also release ladybugs in your garden they kill aphids that let off a scent that attracts ants. but don't harm plants or you could use praying mantises, the praying mantises work better though
  6. Hmmmm, organic.... What most people don't realize is that in days of yore, most people didn't mind eating an occasional bug or two.
  7. Spray some turmeric powder around your plantation to get rid of them
  8. put down ant killer. buy 5 gallons of raid and dump it in the garden
  9. Safer Soap- is is a type of potassium and breaks down fast harmlessly. it dos a great job and doesn't hurt plants
