Japanese Garden Project help?

For a social studies project i have to make a mini Japanese garden. But, I'm not sure where to start. What plants can i use and how do i arrange them? Any info will be usefull. And also where can i get these plants? Thanks so much!

1. get a large square pot at least 2-3 inches deep, some good potting soil, a few stones, some moss and a Bonsai plant put the soil into the planter mounding it towards the center where you will plant the Bonsai put down the moss and arrange the stones in a pleasing manner your done
