My puppy has recently been chewing on the sagebrush out in the garden. ?

Anyone know if it's harmful to dogs? I think she's doing this just for the attention, cause she runs out to the garden,brings the plant in the house chewing on it, even running around with this plant hanging from her mouth. She's only 7 mths. old. For months it was the bark in the garden, now the plants!

1. I wouldn't think it would hurt the dog in any way. She may just be digging it up and playing with it. My dog is always bringing back branches, pine cones, branches, etc. to chew on, but I have never really seen him eat any of this. She's still a puppy and they like to investigate and find all kinds of new things. Keep and eye on her and if she starts to appear less active or sickly in any way, take her to the vet. I really dont think it will hurt the dog at all. You could also call and ask your vet if it is bad for her.
