Free Garden Catalogs

Free herb seeds, free samples maybe? I am starting a small garden for a hobby, and some kids. I am wondering if there is a site that sends out free herb seeds, or maybe a starter kit. I am looking for free things, to show the kids that you can make anything out of something..maybe you know?? please help positivityis@live.com or misslayna@yahoo.com

Is there anywhere in the UK that I can order free samples of grass seed from? My dad has a small patch of garden and would like to grow a lawn rather than use turf strips and is looking for samples of grass seed to find the right one for the purpose. As we have such a small garden and live too far from the nearest garden centre to be able to go back and forth a lot, he would like to be able to test various seeds at home rather than have to buy a large packet and find that it is the wrong one.
